  • I'm surprised that an HR professional didn't pick up on the ageism remarks in Presto's marketing blurb. Have a look here to see what I mean. It may be a useful product but they shouldn't be classifying 70+ million boomers as technophobes.

  • I'm a boomer myself (1959), but didn't see myself in the technophobe category, I guess I thought that product was cool because of the access to those who simply don't have a computer or high speed internet. You're right, ageism is something to watch for in work situations. Good point. I was more laughing about execs who have their e-mail printed out in 2006. I think some of them are technophobes.
